Stewart Band

Congradulations to the Stewart School Concert Band on a fantastic first appearence at the All-City Elementary School Music Festival! Our very own students earned a rating of 'Excellent' at the festival for displaying high levels of musicianship. Way to go band! Congrats again to them and Mr. Spears!

Tiger Tickets

There's a new thing going on at our school, and it's called Tiger Tickets. These little tickets are awarded to students (And teachers) who are "caught" doing the right thing. Say you're reading a book when you're waiting for class to start, you'll get a Ticket for that, or if you help the teacher in picking something up without being asked, that's another ticket. The purpose of these tickets are to encourage students to do the right thing at the right time. At the end of every week, on Friday, there is a raffle of all the tiger tickets everyone's earned in the school. This applies for every student in the whole school. Three tickets are picked, and the person who got that ticket is awarded a prize.
